It was a referral client hence we had to be more cautious as good words comes with a huge responsibility. We were approached to build a telehealth app for their paediatric division. The goal was to reduce in-person visits of kids to their facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic. But they were concerned about the app going obsolete after the pandemic. The organization wanted to retain users and keep growing the app even after the crisis was over.
Challenges & Goals
We spoke to our in-house expert medical consultants who were aware of the telehealth app market. Most of the patients install an app when they need it and completely forget about it. And the next time they need it, they install another app.
To solve this, we spoke to all the stakeholders. We spoke to parents, paediatricians, and the hospital management. The problem was apparent: telehealth apps usually didn’t provide value to the patients after the consultation.
- Patients stopped using the app soon after download.

We created an app with a prime focus on telehealth, and also motivated patients to use it as routine. Our solution was built focusing on bringing value to them each day. It was sync between technology and the healthcare cycle that patients would love to engage.
